Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Maintain excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight across designated regions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago-area roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No DUIs or major preventable accidents in past 3 years
