Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in urban and interstate environments
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling protocolsAdhere to DOT regulations and safety standards Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentationPerform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checksProvide exceptional customer service during deliveriesCollaborate with dispatch team for route optimizationManage time-sensitive deliveries in the DC metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
