Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Deliver freight to multiple locations across Texas and neighboring states
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat protocols (if applicable)
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas roadways
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb trailer decks
