Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) within San Diego County and Southern California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Support team members during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Diego area and California highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety
