Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Transport cargo safely and efficiently along designated routes in Virginia Beach and Georgia.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo to ensure proper handling and securement.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions at pickup and delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must meet state requirements).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card) in possession.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs on record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing to drive in Virginia and Georgia.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
