Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on regional and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork using our mobile apps.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties requiring manual dexterity.
- Basic English literacy and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and logistics software.
