Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and accounted for according to FMCSA safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety protocols.
