Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across Texas routes
- Pre-trip inspections and maintenance documentation compliance
- Timely delivery of freight while maintaining DOT regulations
- Load/unload supervision with proper handling protocols
- Electronic logging device (ELD) management and route optimization
- Customer service communication at delivery points
- Incident reporting and safety protocol adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable hours
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current
