Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required shipping and receiving documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Tennessee.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
