Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes and local deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and maintain accurate logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent Valley Logistics Group professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Fresno and Central Valley geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
- Strong communication and time-management skills
