Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper handling techniques
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS routing and time management
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California roadways and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning shifts and weekend availability
