Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Ohio and surrounding states
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for seamless cargo transport
- Document all transit activities and report incidents promptly
- Train and mentor junior drivers as part of our team development program
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
