Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within the Mid-Atlantic corridor
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery schedules
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and oversized loads
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions and at delivery sites
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Maryland and Ohio traffic regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
