Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while meeting delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Document all delivery transactions and handle paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area and Mid-Atlantic transportation corridors
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
