Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Plan and execute efficient routes while meeting strict delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members via electronic logging systems
- Ensure cargo security and proper documentation (BOLs, permits)
- Represent the company with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
