Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading securely to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and physical.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on route requirements.
