Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while adapting to traffic/weather conditions
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete delivery documentation and customer service interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and fleet management teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI violations in past 5 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Florida roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
