Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across multi-state routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Complete required documentation and reporting procedures accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HAZMAT placarding and securement procedures
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
