Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control and secure loading protocols
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain shipment integrity
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
