Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and secure cargo properly
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time delivery tracking
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time delivery and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safe loading procedures
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Southwest US geography
- Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
