Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Document delivery information and handle necessary paperwork accurately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment orientation programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of California and regional traffic regulations
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
