Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B CDL) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate tie-down methods and equipment.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure timely arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, etc. if applicable).
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
