Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and company policies
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery timelines and fuel efficiency
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain electronic logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Clean background check and satisfactory MVR report
