Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch team
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Document trip details and delivery confirmations accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with route planning
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
