Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across San Francisco and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized routing and real-time tracking
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
