Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Adapt routes for weather, traffic, and delivery time windows
- Represent Pacific Logistics Solutions with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service (HOS)
- Basic navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
