Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain meticulous delivery schedules and communicate status updates
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Document mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts
- Adapt to changing routes and weather conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
