Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and secure loads per safety standards
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery receipts
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time-management and customer service skills
