Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods across Kentucky and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records for compliance with FMCSA requirements
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members throughout delivery process
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
