Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Georgia and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting tight delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain electronic logging system compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and regional geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
