Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while considering traffic, weather, and delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Document delivery status and handle customer communications professionally
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas roadways
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for early mornings, nights, and occasional weekends
