Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) following FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs via ELD systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-sensitive materials
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures at client facilities
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (required for some routes)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices
