Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated Texas routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and meet delivery timelines
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and hazmat certification (preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain additional endorsements if needed
