Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following FMCSA regulations and company protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Transport diverse freight including dry van, refrigerated, and flatbed loads
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining load security
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to all safety standards and participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and transportation regulations
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization abilities
- Physical capability to handle cargo up to 70 pounds
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
