Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (straight trucks/box trucks) for local deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Route optimization and timely delivery completion
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (Michigan)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Reliable transportation to depot location
