Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in a professional manner.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring all cargo is secured and accounted for.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before, during, and after routes to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Class A or B).
- Clean driving record (MVR check will be conducted).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic math skills for reading maps and calculating delivery routes.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and work in various weather conditions.
