Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining strict adherence to schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Secure and handle specialized cargo with precision and care
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of hazmat handling procedures (HME endorsement preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
