Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to customers in Ohio and Virginia.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with all Hours of Service regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding schedule changes or route issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic math skills and ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to work independently and handle time management effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
