Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and ensure full compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold high standards for customer service and safety at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and route instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one immediately.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
