Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (BOL, manifests, delivery receipts) in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the proper endorsements.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Physical ability to lift, pull, and carry cargo and perform manual tasks.
