Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner on routes spanning Ohio and Virginia.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo according to company safety standards and DOT regulations.
- Complete all necessary logbooks and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery windows.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
