Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to transport cargo to designated locations on time.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing, weight distribution, and cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the mechanical condition of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Entry-level experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and local routes in the Denver metro area.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
