Your Role
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently throughout the Washington DC metro area and beyond. We pride ourselves on maintaining a fleet that is ready to roll and a team that supports one another.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) according to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and delivery interactions.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures when required.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and road hazards immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
