Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for freight delivery across Virginia and North Carolina
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT complianceMaintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Assist in training new drivers on company protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of Virginia and North Carolina roadways
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and MVR review
