Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across North Carolina
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (ELB compliance)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina road networks
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
