Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure DOT safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper equipment operation
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Arizona highways and regional geography
