Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods throughout NYC metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely, secure cargo transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and adhere to FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimized route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Ensure compliance with NYC traffic laws and safety protocols
- Document all delivery exceptions and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC metro area and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and provide 3 professional references
