Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical soundness of the equipment.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image at all times, representing our company with integrity and safety-first mentality.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or Class B depending on role).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) preventable accidents in the last three (3) years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo handling procedures.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including potential night shifts or weekends.
