Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Deliver shipments on schedule while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Document delivery details and resolve any transit discrepancies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
