Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution guidelines and using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, route changes, and potential delays.
- Uphold a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (DWI/DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and meet vision/hearing requirements.
- Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
